Day 2: Peace Out! (The 1960s)

Activity 1: The Dawn of Television

My favorite TV show at the moment is Da Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

It is about a a young adult who gets sent over to Bel-Air in LA Form his home town Philly because ho got in one little fight and his mom got scared. He ends up living with his Aunty and uncle and his cousins. He has came from a poor unwealthy family and his Aunt and Uncle are RICH.

MAIN CHARACTERS : Will Smith, (main character) Mr Banks (uncle & father) Aunt Viv (Aunty & mother) Hillary (biggest sister and cousin), Ashley (youngest sister and cousin

Butler geffory/G and friend to Will, Jazz.

Type: Comedy (it makes me laugh Mom can hear me laughing)

And can be watched on Netflix.

Activity 2: Rock ‘n’ Roll:

3 Facts that i found interesting are:

• That John had family in New Zealand.
• That a croud managed to push a car backwards WITH the hand brake on.
• That a crowd ALMOST managed to break a fence.

Activity 2:

The Treaty of Waitangi

There are many fun things to do at Waitangi such as a hangi, a concert and mountain biking.

I would love to give every thing a go but over all I would like to give mountain biking the most.

ACTIVITY 1 :

The More the Merrier?

So I have no idea if I do or don't want to be part of this large family back in the 1800's. this is because I believe there are two sides to this.

I don't because I believe that money would of been an issue in this family, because back then commonly only one parent worked. Also because there were so many other siblings to provide for. This could lead to my older siblings getting the new things (such as clothing and toys) meaning that me, as a younger sibling would get the older used 'hand-me-downs'.

I do because I would never get bored, lots of siblings to play with. I would likely meet more people (friends of my siblings). I would be surrounded in the love of my family.

DAY TWO:

ACTIVITY ONE

similarities? :

A wharepuni has the main components of a house, For example

Walls and a roof.

They have the same (or similar) type of use. eg I sleep in my house they sleep in their wharepuni.

Differences? :

 Our house is much sturdier than a wharepuni, because of the materials it has been made out of for eg our roof is made out of iron, their wharepuni is made out of thatch.

Also, our house has a door their wharepuni has a opening. I have also looked at other wharepuni images and it looks like all wharepuni's just had an opening and no door.

ACTIVITY 2 :

When i grow up i want to become a professional NRL player because i really enjoy team work and playing sport.

My favourite food is teriyaki chicken sushi. I like it because it tastes wonderful.

What i learnt about Maui?:

Maui was getting bullied by his older brothers,

That he HID IN THE HULL OF THE BOAT,

And That Maui made his fishing line/rope out of flax.


Activity Two

the ride is taking so long there is sun shine then its cloudy then rain then thunder and lighting (repeat X1000)


I love New Zealand I think it unique I have not found any snakes. The people here are unique as well they speak a different language im trying to learn when I came they threatened to kill me which was a bit odd. I gave them a map then it was all good but I like them you will like it as well!

P.S its very cold over here and i am actually quite nervous about it.




Bonus activity: 

I would like to be in a Waka Ama race because I would like to try it out and even if I dont like it I can still say that I have done it and because you need team work. I like team sport because I play rugby leauge and i also like the water BUT im not that great at swimming.
